In order to be awarded the Certificate, the student must pass all components at a level of 50 per cent or better.
               
Taught modules GEOLGH01 and GEOLGH02 are assessed on the basis of:      
             
  • Coursework
    		•  20%      
  • 1 x 2 hour seen-paper written examination
    		•  80%      
             
    Project module GEOLGH03 is assessed as follows:      
               
  • Submission of a 10,000 word (maximum) report
    		• 80%          
  • Oral presentation based on report
    		• 20%
